We had this season’s first big snow storm yesterday and today. Already with the snow. Yep. Now begins the cooping up inside time. Since we made it through last winter without hacking each other to pieces I figure odds are good that we’ll make it through another one. Dust off our powerful coping mechanisms and fire ’em up. It’s gonna be a long winter.
Speaking of which, here is a picture of a fan that has been in the studio’s backyard since it’s owners abandoned it in August:
Since it serves no other purpose and is in no danger of being disposed of properly, I intend to use it as a snow measuring stick. Together we can watch as the snow engulfs the fan this winter. Won’t that be a fun thing to which we can look forward? Gotta have something.
Speaking of something–the opossum resurfaced last night right as I was surfing the net looking for a heated outdoor food dish. (For soup or something–he looks cold.) Turns out he can eat frozen food pretty well, it just takes a little longer to chew. I watched him eat a bunch of food and waddle away. That was fun. I’m really glad he’s back ’cause Don’s going to Chicago for five days and I need something to remind me to come home and eat. Or just come home at all. It’s going to be a really boring five days. I’ll get work done, though, I think.
